The door is unanswered. For a long period of time, all is silent.

Until there is someone behind Skyfire, clearing their throat a bit loudly.

In one hand is a half-empty bottle of green liquid. Thane keeps himself steady, but he is peering at Skyfire. Not quite dubiously, but almost thoughtfully, as if trying to figure out why or how the scientist is here.

Finally, he says, "What did you need, drele?"

The neatly-sliced fruit almost goes flying everywhere. How does he do that? He's like some kind of green ninja.

"Oh! Hi- I um. You... said before you'd wanted to talk so I brought you something to eat and thought we could, you know. Talk," He tries to smooth his obviously ruffled nerves and smile his usual calm smile.

He eyes up the half-full bottle of what he recognizes to be ryncol.

"Hitting the bottle a bit early tonight?" The shuttle laughs a bit nervously.

"Ah yes. Talk. That's right." There was that. He just... didn't expect now. Then again, Skyfire does press a bit for this sort of thing, doesn't he.

Thane shrugs his shoulders. "It's not terribly early." He pauses, in order to have a sip from the bottle. "6:00 PM, actually. That's a fitting time, isn't it? I should think so."

"Is this a bad time?" He asks, quirking a brow.

"I suppose that depends on how many you've had," Thane often smells like a radioactive brewery these days, so it's kind of hard to tell at this point.
