Hiccup was watching Sokka devour his third hamburger with a queasy sort of frown. Despite knowing most of his backstory as well as his general disposition, he stiiill couldn't help but wonder if the guy had some Viking in him. He sure attacked meat like a Viking.

The thought passed when Jim spoke. "Uh...for--for what?" he asked, voice just as low. He glanced at Sokka and wondered if he was too busy eating to hear this.

NOPE. Not too busy. The adults talking mean something important might be happening that he could be able to beg to get in on-- he's just going to pretend to focus on eating for now, though.

....he doesn't really have to feign the focus too much, the hamburgers are kind of amazing, as weird as they are. Who would grind up meat?

"For helping me look," he nodded his head to Sokka scarfing away. "No way I could've found him on my own."

Jeez, boy really hadn't eaten anything since this mess started, had he... Jim was glad they found him when they did. It probably wouldn't have gone over well once they were all back to normal -- if they go back to normal. It dawned upon him that they weren't sure if there'd be a way to fix this. Oh great.

Hiccup couldn't help but grin. "What, pfft, no. You. You would've. I mean, you...thought to check the network, right? And that's how we found him. Yooou, totally...like. Had it covered."

Attempting to be good-natured, he nudged Jim's elbow with his own.
