A heavy sigh escaped the scientist as he flopped face first into the snow. The cold was, a small comfort. The snow. Not only was it cooling for his generally higher body temperature, but snow reminded him much of Alaska. Not the best of places - seeing as Alaska was located on Earth - but as far as places on that planet went it was alright. The particular zone he had found his way into, was the closest he could find to that, and he was getting tired.
Tired of his emotions being out of control. Tired of walking. Of not sleeping.
Honestly he felt as though he was going to collapse, so why not just pass out in the snow?
Logic was not as strong as it was, as it should have been. He understood why he "broke", but he couldn't understand what to do about it. Back in the City he had inquired about it, attempted to find ways to fix himself, but human bodies just didn't seem to work that way. Things only became worse for him, and it still felt as though things were getting worse.
What he needed was focus. Logic.
He was still the logical military operations commander and scientist. Yes, perhaps he'd changed, but logic had not left him. He'd simply not been listening hard enough. He just had to focus.
And focus.
...
And yawn and curl up in the snow, until logic saw fit to cry out to him louder than before.
He would fix this.
