[ You'd probably expect a 14 foot chitinous black monstrosity to be pretty conspicuous, but sci-fi horror calls for stealth and jump scares so it really shouldn't come as a surprise that Grid is fairly decent at sneaking about. It's how she got into this dwelling, slipping through empty hallways and vents to this particular room.
There's a loud meat male, old and unsuitable for food or brooding, hunched over some source of light and movement. She drops silently from the ceiling to the floor and creeping up behind him, her nose edging up along his right arm as she angles herself to get a better look at what he's doing. ]
