[ UNSC; ENCRYPTION 50% ]

We've got a problem. Had Jack show up on my doorstep [ window, whatever ] in rough shape, said someone bit him and drank his blood. Wasn't pretty.

I couldn't get a lot out of him. Some man named Eko brought him to his friend--redhead, glasses, wearing purple--who bit him.

He didn't say anything about an alien. The marks on his neck looked about the right size to be made by a human mouth, although the teeth were definitely sharper than they should be.

There are blood banks. Donations there. I don't see why they have to attack anyone.

That did not take long, I see. I expected accusations.

I did nothing with Jack, as you might well have discovered if you had inquired of him. I asked for his cooperation in tending to a poor soul who had made himself ill. Jack complied, and we are both quite thankful for his help.
