[ So it's a video feed, and in the feed is a landscape. Grass, mountains in the distance, some kind of building way far away. Nothing too terribly exciting, if you didn't know that it was an exact holographic replica of the planet Reach's surface, down to every tiny, pristine detail.
And if you didn't know that there had been a replica of the place before, that had been utterly destroyed during a complete recreated holographic version of the assault on Reach. The last time anyone saw this particular Wilderness Area with its touchable holographic overlay, it was a smoking ruin and holo-Covenant had been crawling over it, and the Spartans had been fighting one of their own.
Anyway, O'Brien's voice comes from above the camera, as he's twisting his arm to film the area. God knows why he was even there in the first place but he sounds pretty shaken. ]
