Generally a simple explanation of one's intent with the assumption of marriage as a final goal. I had not engaged in such, as my marriage would have been primarily political. Therefore my parents would have arranged a meeting with the woman so we could begin to become acquainted with each other.

Many things, though mostly it is about her research. It is of great interest and passion for her, though I admittedly do not understand most of it. I tell her of Asgard, for there are many things to be said about my home.

Then it sounds like you're already doing fine. You don't have to... do anything specific. To push things, or to rush. Just be with each other, and if it makes you happy, stay with each other.
