Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

For everybody who doesn't know, Thanksgiving is an American holiday where we take a day to have a really big meal and spend time with family and close friends and remember to be thankful for the wonderful things in our lives. So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to just let the people I'm thankful for know that I appreciate them, even though I've only been here a couple weeks.
First off, May and Toby! May, you are my bestest new friend here and you're a great listener and I totally would trust you with every single one of my secrets. And Toby for letting me move in with you guys.
Thom, you are so nice to me and I really appreciate it a lot more than I can express.
To Jade and Nepeta and Vriska and Kanaya and Karkat and every single one of you awesome trolls and teenagers that I've met and talked to, you're all super spiffy cool! And I know I'm kind of older than you, but you're still totally my friends. And if you ever ever need anything, some space away from your roomies or some advice or just somebody older for something, just let me know and I am totally there, okay? I might be an only child, but I can totally do big sister duties if you need them of me!
Shaun and Georgia.... [ she hesitates a bit, and her smile wobbles before she continues ] Thank you for being my friends. For giving me a job back when you were starting out, and for helping me get my A license so we could apply for the Ryman campaign and everything you've ever done for me. I know it didn't turn out very well in the end, but... well, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Not my life back, not anything. You're the best friends I ever could've asked for. Ever ever. I know you're not religious, but I do believe that God brought you into my life, and I've been blessed ever since.
[ deep breath, big smile, try to pretend she's not tearing up a little ]
