[Joe hops on his bike and rides to the lab, arriving later and knocking on the door.]

Hello? Here for the survey? Man I hope this ain't SHODAN bein' sneaky.

[Rude cyborg girl shouting from inside: check! She leans out into view, just to prove that she isn't an insane AI.]

[He walks inside and nods at her question.]

[The door closes behind him with a fairly sinister hiss. It seems pretty airtight. There's a small corridor, and then another door but beyond that it's all lab.]

Correct. I... [Friend. Sure, that's. Close to the right word.] I like robots.

[It's weird that Kim, who has a robot arm and lives with robots, doesn't run into just that problem more often.]

So, what I need are specific kinds of sensors. I'm going to need a few thousand of them, accounting for user error and collection loss, so...

[Fishing around in her pile of papers, she comes up with what looks like a thumb drive. She drops it as if burned and goes diving again, this time successfully- and hands Joe a map. Real paper, would you look at that.]

This is a map of drone repair stations that are publicly accessible, at least that I know of. I know there are more, but I haven't been able to map them all. There are also various cybernetics-repair shops and garages...

[Turn the map over, it's a technical diagram! It looks like an eye.]

It's hard to manufacture these by hand. But this is what I need. I'm willing to bet that there are plenty in the junkyard, but since you're more mobile, I want you to look around the station. Pick a zone and get everything you can, then I'll pay you. Alright?
