[Sonic has a chili dog with a ribbon around it in one hand. He has a look that says 'HUH. DIDN'T SEE THAT COMIN' on his face.
He takes a bite.]

Nope, Eggman ain't behind this one. It's weird time-space dimension transportation crap.

[He grins.] Besides that, this place is pretty cool. I mean, hey, at least it ain't sporting a big dumb mustache on the front, right?

[Okay, so he was kinda expecting this, thanks to Chell and Eggman, but that doesn't stop him from looking totally and utterly stoked. And yeah, lack of mustaches and badniks are always a plus, even if Eggy is around.

He nods, and though he's playing it kinda cool right now, it should be obvious that the little guy's excited. He looks around and scratches his head, sort of his own way of asking where Sonic is.]

[He taps at his wearable for a moment. It pings his location to Sonic - he's in Kurzweil.] I'm just hangin' out in the city. You're outta the junkyard by now, right?

[What a coincidence! He just so happens to be in Kurzweil as well. Sonic rubs the back of his hand against his forehead and heaves a sigh of relief, and then he nods. Yeah, he's so glad to be outta that dump.

Now it's just a matter of rushing over to his older self. He already looks like he's ready to bolt.]
