'Cheer up brownies?' Do they have some qualifying property that allows such a change in disposition?

Well technically, chocolate increases the number of endorphins in the brain and makes you happier! But mostly they're just because they're made with love and also really yummy.

I do not have endorphins.

So making something in an emotional state imbues that item with certain attributes?

Not necessarily! But if you put a lot of thought into making something, it usually comes out better than if you just do it half-heartedly.

And you can still eat brownies even if you don't have endorphins!

[the TARDIS' hologram tilts her head as Jade approaches, not bothering to stand. behind her, the police box looms in sharp shadows, humming quietly and emitting a soft glow from behind the doors]

Are you unfamiliar with spaceships?

We didn't have spaceships at home. [ She's taking in the whole sight, a little slack-jawed because wow so cool the science that must have gone into this omg... ]
