[Not that Eleanor thought she should use that word. Every time she did people vanished. Friends and family a like. But part of her was actually a little lonely...]
[So the feed finally flicked on to show a wall of leaves, as the wearable was hanging from a tree, and Eleanor seated on a rock on the ground in a simple white dress, absently cutting a fruit she had found with a small knife. She looked rather disheveled, clothing torn in a couple places, her hair a mess, a few blotches of dirt on her face and arms. She managed a weak smile at the screen.]

[She focuses her attention on the fruit to keep from looking at the screen, finishing cutting it in half and setting part on her bare knee.]

[Yes she's being unspecific, no that's probably not going to change. She finally looks up, though.]
I just...I needed to-to vanish for a little while. Jack's gone, Cindy's gone, you...well. It was after the black rocks.
[She just shrugs and looks back at her fruit.]

[Sigh.] Well, if those teleporters try to send me home permanently I'll just have to yank out all their wires! Don't worry.

[She shifts faintly and shrugs.]

[Another sigh.] Look. It seems to me that this going home thing is mostly out of our control. If that's the case, there really isn't any point in worrying about it. The best we can do is enjoy our time here will we have it, and enjoy each other's company while we're all here, right?
