Reading the network, I'm guessing that I'm not the only one who can alleviate my own symptoms. I'm not positive, but it seems to be tied to my firebending somehow. Are the others who can do the same fire users too

It would be nice if that was why I'm immune. Unlikely, though.

It's probable. It's definitely what seemed to work for me.

Hmm. I'm hesitant to test it by switching to a plasmid that isn't fire. Dying that like that looks...unpleasant.

What's a plasmid?

A way of giving someone powers on a genetic level. I have...several, but telekinesis and Incinerate tend to...fight to be dominant at any given time. I can switch between them.

Switching away from incinerate would end poorly.
