5.0 [Audio] > Anon: Express Displeasure

May 23, 2011 21:42

[Hope you people are getting used to non-staticky Anon, because he is back. Though he isn't talking at the speed of light today. Normal-people speed now. Hooray!
And he sounds... kind of annoyed, in fact.]

This is not the body I was hoping for.

[SOMEBODY GIVE ME A HELMET.]

[Here's a great reason why Wheatley doesn't have legs, it means that he can't go into teleporters. Meaning he's all cozy and warm in his wonderfully crafted, non-locomotive body. Fantastic!]

Sometimes, sometimes... I just... I'm glad I'm immobile. Really, really, just fantastic.

Oh man... Oh man... I can't... even contain my laughter at all of this.

[What.

What are you?

You're all British and eyebally.]

Immobile? That seems... uncomfortable.

Don't you ever want... new scenery?

[HOW CAN YOU STAND IT I HAVE TO MOVE OR I GO CRAZY]

[He's company property.]

I'd rather be an immobile ball than a ... wiggling ... mound of flesh any day. Or, or at least that's what I think you are. In reality if you're not a ball of flesh or even .. covered... in flesh this conversation doesn't really mean anything.

New scenery? Who? Me? No, no... definitely... definitely not. I'm perfectly fine... everywhere.. Just sitting. Me, here. Somewhere. Always. Or on a rail, restricted. But no, no certainly not.

...

... [Yes all the time don't tell anyone.]

[Dude that is the most revolting mental image anyone has ever given him. He decides to focus on the scenery instead.]

Oh.

Certain that you would not... like a change of scenery?

[Because he can pick you up. It's not even a problem since you probably don't know Flynn or Tron! And he can kind of read body language like a mofo, even if you're not a body so much as a ball.]

[Of course he would of course he would of course he would]

Er... no. Definitely not. Nope.

[You are a terrible liar. And this is coming from Anon.]

Well... if you are sure.

[Then he'll just track your user ID and pick you up anyway, because he can read between the lines.]

[He's sure it's just in his best interest to stay where he is, wherever he is, he's pretty sure he's in some sort of a room that someone else owns, but his processors are too busy directing of all of his masterful social skills]

Sure I'm sure, sure as the sun shines, bright as day. Not that I've ever seen... daylight, you know. [There's a very forced and artificial laugh that emanates from him]

Well, carry on then, have a nice day.

You have not seen daylight?

[You poor thing. He doesn't even like the sun all that much but he's still seen it.]

... Have you seen trees?

Re: [audio] catchthebrit May 26 2011, 04:03:12 UTC
Of course I've seen trees. Bothersome things, not worth anyone's time.

[All trees have ever done was grow on service rails. Useless things.]

Just checking. They kind of need daylight.

[He likes trees, they're like horrible organic program/ETC combinations.]

... Regardless of what they need, I still don't particularly care for them. At all. Don't know why anyone would.

[Maybe the thought that, maybe, he has seen daylight because holy shit trees really do need sun to grow would have gone through his processor if it really knew how to connect dots properly.]

[At the very least, he can say that you are smarter than bits and gridbugs and (most) of Clu's rectified soldiers that he's met.]

The organics need them to breathe. Oxygen system, or something. They can be pretty, too.

All they ever do is breathe. Just... Just exhale inhale exhale inhale all the bloody time. It's infuriatin'!

And no, definitely not. I've never seen a single tree that was even relatively pretty, they all looked rather ghastly and disfigured and not worth anyone's time.

Is it? Never minded it, myself. Can actually be... soothing. A little.

Have not seen the right trees, then. [Cherry blossoms, man.]

... You know in all of my time of being well, anywhere, I've never heard anyone or anything refer to breathing as being soothing.

[weirded. out.]

I've seen enough trees to count, and I doubt whatever trees you're speaking of are still not worth it.

It is likely because I am not required to do so myself, normally.

[Also, the rhythm. He likes the rhythm of it.]

Suppose so.
