003: Text [Slightly backdated]
If time is passing the same way here as it does back home, today marks the day that Alan-1 first uploaded my code into the Encom system. The conversion of cycles to years and days is confusing at times, but I believe I have it correct.
I wonder if this is similar to the User concept of a "birthday." It was the date I first became aware of my own existence and purpose in the system, though I have never done anything particularly special to note the passing of the cycles. Apparently it is far more important to Users to track these things.
