004: [video] progress
Hello, um...hi, Miss Hypatia? I'm sorry to bother you, but um, my name is Jin Tian. I was wondering if maybe I could have access to one of the shuttle bays? I'd like to take a look at the surrounding space and the exterior of the station. Um, I won't need to use any special equipment for that or anything, so your equipment won't be in danger. And, I don't intend to go down to the planet or anything. I'd just like to see if I can get a better sense of where in space we are and stuff? Um, thanks in advance just for even, um, listening to my request.

Hellooo. Just, um, just thought I'd update on the uh, scanner situation? I think I'm about a third of the way done! People have been really helpful in finding parts and stuff. So, if things keep going at this pace I should be done with it in...a month or two? Then I can start studying the rift and after that I might finally be able to start trying to manipulate it! But, um--[yawn]--I don't want to get ahead of myself, so, just one step at a time, right? And I still need help, so if anyone wants to do that, that'd be great!
Oh, also, um. [Yawn.] This might be a bit random, but I was wondering if there was anyone on the station who might, like...want to spar or something? At some point? Like, um, with weapons. It's just, I know I should be working on the scanner the whole time, but I'm worried I'll get out of practice.
