Yadda, Yadda, Yadda

Not quite sure how to start off this entry. Nothing major is going down in it, but introductions are always difficult aren't they? In school we were always taught to have an "attention grabbing" sentence to begin each paragraph, so I guess I'll begin each paragraph with something like "Free Crack!" No? Okay.

Okay, i'm just rambling, and being random.

I've been a working stiff. I added a second job at Ann Taylor Loft (again) since I had so many free mornings with auditions drying up. But they were scheduling me way too much, and I was working every day, and 50+ hours per week which is no fun at all. So I quit saying that the TKTS job promoted me, which is party true. Never quit a job before, but my managers said that ATL will be there for me always, which was nice to hear. But yes, I did get a bit of a promotion working the ole TKTS booth. Since the two dudes who own and run the company I work for are producing Naked Boys Singing in Provincetown this summer, I get to be the "big boy" once or twice a week now. This basically means that I'm in charge of whoever else is working, telling them to go on breaks, making sure ticket sales are where they need to be for our shows, yadda yadda yadda, I get paid more.

Haven't auditioned a lot lately, but I will be going on a couple here and there over the next few weeks. Overall, not a whole lot to go to. However, there is a job on the horizon. Basically, the production team wants me, but they need to get the approval from the producers first. It's Curious George Live, and it would be a 10 month tour, with possible extensions. There are also a couple other pots on the stove, and I'm waiting to see if they boil. (How do ya like that Metaphor?!)

And what LJ entry lately would be complete without a good tourist in times square moment? Some lady in line asked me what "Shrek" was like, but pronounced it "Shriek" Then, when I told her what "The Marvelous Wonderettes" was like (all 50's and 60's music) she said, "Oh, so it's like 'Hair'." ...exactly.

Speaking of which, I saw "Hair" last week through the goodness of a group of folks who won the 9 to 5 lotto the night before. Truly a remarkable production, and I would do anything to be a part of that show.
