Haven't updated for real in a while, so here I go.

-I have a job job, and I really love it. I work for a promotions company that promotes shows at the TKTS booth in times sq. Yes, I'm one of those guys handing out flyers. However, most of our job is actually talking to people about the shows and giving them a seemingly "un-biased" opinion. It's just sales, which god knows I did forever at the ole ATL. What's nice is that we work for A LOT of shows, so you can give most people a really good option for what they are looking for. (ex. "Since you were interested in a family friendly show like Mary Poppins, you should go see The Marvelous Wonderettes. It's like Grease and Mamma Mia had a baby!") However, right now it sucks because the producers of The Norman Conquests are idiots and want their OWN flyer boy out there, so I now get to ONLY promote that show. It's a hard one to explain to a 45 year old Russian woman with broken english who is disappointed that Mamma Mia isn't available at TKTS. It pays well, I get to talk to people, and I see a lot of free theatre. I can't complain.

-After much headache and run around, I finally got my severance pay from OZ. I also just got back from dinner with one of the girls from tour who talked to Todrick. He expressed to her in a phone conversation how he didn't want to replace me, but they needed to have someone older in the role to create more diversity. Damn, I guess I'm not a big diva after all.

-I got hit on at Don't Tell Mama's the other night. I was really into him at first, but after seeing him converse with someone else for only 5 minutes, I was turned off. He did kiss me on the cheek on his way out, after he asked me what my name was.

-Auditions are slow right now, although the EPA's have been easier to get seen at. Most auditions right now seem to be for shakespeare or black people. Or both.

-I've come to terms with the fact that I'm going to be in town for the summer. I want to find a better job (waiting tables or something) and just take as many classes as I can. That is one thing missing from my life.

-See Next to Normal if you get a chance. Easily the best musical I've seen in a few years. Could make my top five of all time.
