http://www.bookrags.com/wiki/Hiro_Sohma Personality: At first glance, Hiro is little more than a brat. And to be honest, a brat is definitely what he is. Though in this case, it’s a brat who tends to give incredibly long, one-sided arguments about how he is undeniably right and anyone who feels like arguing with him is an idiot. Said arguments tend to be given out at any opportunity, deny any chance to protest or counter, and be as callous as possible.
He's surprisingly cynical for his age, easily irritated by people who presume the best, or accentuate the positive. He's also somewhat mature and in fact isn't fond of childish behaviour (which explains his attitude to Momiji).
Hiro tends to act cold to anyone he encounters, if not downright antagonistic. Conversation with him can be compared to crossing a minefield, or disarming an incredibly sarcastic, ticking time-bomb. The very act of talking to him is likely to end in tears. He’s also fond of abusing his youth as an excuse for his actions, in addition to helping him get his way. Really, Hiro has a ridiculous amount of pride, and is over-confident to boot.
Of course, this is merely at a first glance. The reasons for Hiro’s actions are just as important as the actions themselves. For him, it’s a combination of various factors, most of which can be tied to Kisa. His guilt over her injuries have left him with a great deal of stress, accompanied with confusion over his own feelings. All of that came with one hell of an inferiority complex. For that reason, he longs to be an adult, ‘someone who would protect Kisa’ (in the meantime getting incredibly jealous, not to mention hostile, to those who can cheer her up more than he can). To reach this goal, he works to be as mature as he can, while venting his problems on everything in range.
What your character can offer: I’m sure the involuntary power to turn into a sheep will somehow be useful. And hey, maybe someone’ll be glad to see the little tsunshota.
What items will they be bringing with them? ...Clothing time!
Third-Person Sample: Another day, another long, long, long period of time having to put up with idiots. What sort of idiots? The best kind of course! Adults! The city was full of adults, and not just any adults, these were 'proper' adults. In other words, the naive, overly optimistic kind who'd probably been brought up with those pointless kid's books no-one even read anymore. Oh, and colouring books, those were annoying too. Why would anyone buy a book and then spend half the time finishing it? Did those people actually buy a car and decide to put the engine together? Were they expecting to get some satisfaction out of saving the printing press some ink? Or maybe they thought that they'd actually get something out of wasting their time. Honestly, he hated those people who would waste their money like that.
Hiro sighed as he slumped onto the...bed? It was probably meant to be a bed, in the same way a pair of broken planks stuck together with old glue was meant to be a bed. In this situation, most self-proclaimed 'adults' would no doubt spout some old crap about 'being thankful for what you have' or 'I can't really complain'. Ugh, those idiots didn't get it, how were they-... Maybe it really wasn't the best time to be complaining. He had better things to think about than idiots, even if the other option were also idiots. 'The joys of family'. Great. That idiot Hatsuharu was definitely here, with some weird crap about fairies. Dumb cow was probably dropped at his birth. Scratch that, dropped at his birthdays, each and everyone of them, probably repeatedly. The rat was here too if he remembered right, but by that point, he was rather distracted by-
Kisa. She was here, even if he had no idea where right now, she was here. And to Hiro, that was surprisingly, the only thing that mattered right now.
First-Person Sample: [And to start our lovely video, we have a view of absolutely noth-
...nevermind, SUDDENLY, shota face on the screen.]
Right. I'll make this brief for you. It's pretty obvious that I've been kidnapped, so who is it? What kind of person takes an innocent kid of the streets? Are they some sort of generic villain who probably won't even show themselves?
And since I've been kidnapped, why hasn't anyone tried helping me yet? Do any of you idiots listening have any compassion? Do you think it's okay to leave a child out in the cold just because you left them with some trashy phone? If I left you in the desert with an old laptop, would you actually accept it? I can't stand apathetic people like that!
It should be obvious, but I'll spell it out for you. Explain. Now.
