General Update
At least there's some rain right now... that makes my day!
We went to Jessie's shore house in Bethany Beach, DE. Her house is spectacular because it's all pretty and in the woods. Friday Rob and I got to the house around 6. Set the systems up, ate, unpacked a little, and got comfy. Jessie's aunt left the key for us because Jess would take a while to get there and I don't like driving to new places at night. Glad I didn't because I would have never found her house in the dark if I didn't know where it was. They arrived late, around 9pm? Everyone got a little settled and we watched some gaming and I went to bed.
Saturday morning I got up at 9am and poked Jess, "Can we go to the beach now?." Everyone got up and got ready. We hit Wawa for some supplies and then we went to Delaware Beach State Park something or another. It was on the inlet, bay and ocean. Like if Wildwood was really thin. Had to go under Rt. 1 on foot and drag our stuff. There were no lifeguards and a lot of surfers to laugh at. I love watching them fall, it's fun! Evan built a cute little sand castle. They buried Katie into the sand and made her a hermaphrodite. Rob stayed under his umbrella a lot, he did go play in the ocean with Ben once and Katie once. We wet some woman with the slingshot, it was bad! :) We had a good time.
We came back to the house and everyone showered and decided to head to Rehoboth Beach just for some sightseeing. We walked around a little, I got some postcards and Kohr Bros. On the way back to the truck we got Grotto's Pizza (it's like famous down in DE) and headed home. We ate and watched some stuff. Mike called and said he was finishing work and on his way. We were excited about it that we all squealed and giggled like some celebrity was coming. We waited outside for him, and then he called again saying he was lost. The sign for "Savanah's Landing" kinda blows if you don't know what your looking for. We started walking to the entrance of the development, and Rob found a toad. He let it go and we went back to the house. There was a little fun to be had and then sleep
Sunday, since everyone was hungry, Jess and I decided to go to the supermarket for some supplies. We got burgers for dinner and bacon for breakfast... I made scrambled eggs, Katie cooked them, and Evan made toast. It was the first time that it seemed like people were pitching in to help around the house without a big fuss. We ate breakfast at 3pm and then piled all of us in the truck to Jessie's aunts house. It was spectacular. Rich people... 3 boats, house on the bay alley, it was really nice. Her aunt and cousin were also really nice. I watched a crab scoot past in the water, and 2 itty bitty jellyfish were dancing in the water. After that we went and made a pitstop in Bethany Beach for like an hour. Rob played In The Groove at the local arcade, I got Theresa a shirt (which I still have to sew because the tag ripped out) and some postcards. We all went back to the house and had some bbq. I drank a beer, a whole beer, all by myself. Then I was licking the bottle of Captian Morgans. "Everyone needs to lick the Captian once in their lives!" There was some hooka and back deck fun. We all sat around chatting, I did some search puzzles. Jess was matching Mike drink for drink so they almost killed an entire bottle of Vodka. Then she was sick. *duh* She made herself throw up and felt better! There were no smokes left and I wasn't letting anyone drive, so Katie and Evan and Ben I think walked to the Wawa. Rob wanted to search for "pets" so we went out also. We came back because I had to pee, and went back outfront and don't ya know, there's a big old toad sitting there. Rob caught him and I named him Robert (but in french makes it sound like "Robere") I went in and got a ziplock container and he put it in there. We went out to get some food for him and he found another one. That one is Sylvian (another french name) so they are La Resistance... well former cause La Resistance is no more. We watched a little S.W.A.T. and oh my god do I love that movie! Colin Farrell is so damn hot! I went to bed and went to sleep cause I had to close on Monday night. Problem was, Katie and Evan were making "those noises" that kept me up, then I had to piss and they were in the bathroom for a while. Rob had to piss bad so he tried to go in the room Adrienne and Justin were sleeping in, he gashed his leg up pretty bad and almost pissed in Jessie's parent's closet! I went out and banged on the door both hands closed fisted, because without my glasses and in the dark and I can't try to go in the other bathroom. Finally they came out and I pissed and went back to bed. Needless to say I wasn't happy about being woken up, and being up for almost 3 additional hours. I did have to close and drive home still. We left around noon and got home in time for me to go to work.
Jessie has been depressed lately, so I made her a present... I can't metion it here, because she reads it, and if not the people who read it are a little snitchy! I worked hard on it and hopefully she will love it!
Mike's been working and doing school... we miss him so much here, we could use his "stuff" just in general.
Adrienne and Justin are doing well? I'm not sure, but they seem positive right now.
Rob's working, he will be getting a raise this week and a new position. He and Dave are both the lead on the dock. Which is a good thing because I know Dave needs the help. I don't think Dave realizes that Rob has had management experience so he's kind of wary of it. He will soon realize he has not only had management experience, but is much better at it than Dave is! (No offense Dave...)
Work at the Pagoda has been really good. I like what I do, I like where I'm at, I love who I work with! Hopefully I'll be getting a better position sooner than later (supposed to be taking an Asst. position when Amanda leaves) maybe October.
Carolina should be doing okay... haven't had a really good update from her lately, just her small postings!
