Both, actually. It did make an excellent profit and most of the time was exceedingly entertaining.

It seems like most of the City was affected. Should I even ask where they thought they were?

There's a City in America called Las Vegas. I went sometime in the fifties, I think. [he knows the dates won't mean much to Menolly. He waves his hand, dismissing them] Quite a long time ago. It's a City built on gambling, drinking and adult entertainment. It's earned a bit of a nickname: Sin City.

A city known for sinning.

That actually explains a lot of what I saw over the weekend.

I think I'd like to see a city built on the idea of sin.

Ah, but can that lack be relied on? Especially when someone isn't close enough to adequately read body language.
