[Dean doesn't Christmas shop. Except he's trying. He's got a bag full of crap like a can of oil and some shaving cream. Oh and that paper bag full of magazines that would be...yes both porn and Christmas gifts. He sees Menolly across the street and heads over toward her]

[Shrugging, she just chuckles and tucks her packages a little closer.]

It's more along the lines of wanting to celebrate with my friends. We don't do holidays back on Pern and I'm growing to like the idea.

[Dean nods a little] Christmas here is a little easier then at home for some reason. [He shifts all his packages and leans up against a building a little, not seeing the mistletoe he's now standing under]

Hell if I know. [Reaching out to steady her. Just in case. His hand goes to her elbow. Packages actually do slip a little. He's not caring]

[Dean slides a hand to the back of Menolly's neck and places his fingertips beneath her jaw. He dips his head a bit more and places a soft, slow kiss on her lips]

[There's a moment of surprise before her body shifts closer, her fingers moving to slide along his arm.]

[Dean curls his fingers along the back of her neck and pulls her a little closer, more into the kiss. It's gentle and soft. Surprisingly (maybe) Dean takes his time with the kiss, melting into it. More than his usual actions and words, the way Dean kisses lays bare the person he really is]

[It's easy for Menolly to let herself fall into the kiss. Groaning softly, her free hand rises to settle on his shoulder, fingers tight as if she's eager to hold onto him.]

[Dean's hand slides down to the small of her back and he pulls her up on her toes. The kiss is still soft, gentle and slow but the body language is a little more...urgent.]

[She muffles a soft whimper into the kiss, her body shifting to neatly tuck itself close to his. It's time like this that show just how tall Menolly really is.]

[Tall is nice. He likes tall girls. He turns them both, rolling so that she's against a wall instead of him. It takes them out from under the mistletoe but he doesn't really notice at first. He's kissing a pretty girl. It'll take a second to realize which pretty girl he's kissing.]

[It takes a moment for the change in position to register, but when it does, Menolly breaks the kiss with a low groan, and even though her lips aren't attached to his anymore, her hands are still flush against the back of his neck.]
