It's an unusual sight, seeing Menolly with one of the larger harps she's settled into one of the open areas available at Oh Aces. Usually, one will find her at the piano if she's not poking around in Myrnin's room, but tonight, she's felt the urge to settle into a familiar niche of music. After spending a great deal of time outside, Myrnin heads back toward Oh Aces, pausing at the sound of harp music. He heads on inside, a smile curving his lips. Since it's been an outside day he's wearing a pair of madras plaid shorts, flip flops, a linen jacket that looks like it might be from the 1920's and a ruffled shirt with an obscene amount of lace.

And oh yes. He's sparkling in the sun.

"A change of instrument. Not that I've grown tired of the piano but I approve of the deviation."

Menolly glances up at him, mouth open to say something when she blinks at the sight. Her fingers falter on the strings, pulling out an obviously wrong note before she claps a hand over her mouth to stifle the giggle that's threatening to escape. The only acknowledgment from Beauty is a lazy glance, followed by a snoooooort.

"O-oh my. You're rather.... bright today."

He sticks one foot and leg out, looking down at it then looks back up at Menolly with a rather maniac grin.

"It's lovely isn't it? I've been walking about in the sun."

"Oh, it's certainly you, dear."

This time, there's no way she can hide the giggle. Seeing him this happy makes her rather chipper herself.

"I rather think so myself and it goes with everything in my wardrobe."

As if there's something that wouldn't go with his eclectic closet.

"Oh, glitter goes with all the colors of the rainbow."

She does her best to say it with a straight face, but it only lasts a moment before she gets the giggles again. Heaving a sigh, Beauty shoots Myrnin a rather nasty glare before she climbs down from Menolly's shoulder and disappears only to reappear by her bronzes.

"I believe I've infuriated Beauty by being the cause for your stop in playing," Myrnin chuckles.

He tilts his head at her. "Perhaps you'd care to go to do something outside since I'm able."

"Oh, I think that's more because you have such an easy time snatching my attention."

Chuckling, she pushed the harp away from her shoulder, smoothing her fingers over the well worn instrument before she nodded and stood.

"I'd love to. What did you want to do?"

"Jealous," Myrnin nods. "I understand." He looks to the dragons. "I promise you've nothing to be jealous of." And then he winks at them before turning his attention back to Menolly.

"Mmmm I'm not certain. What do you like to do during the day?"

Several soft chirps meet his wink, mixed in with a soft, hesitant one from Beauty. Chuckling, Menolly shrugs.

"Me? I usually go to the beach or the gardens if I go out during the day."

"Alright. Let's do that then. It's been several hundred years since I've seen the ocean during the day," Myrnin nods agreeable. He holds an arm out for Menolly then pauses and considers. "Perhaps I should wear a tee shirt if we're going to the beach."

Because Edwardian top coat and ruffled shirt goes terribly well everywhere except the beach.

Considering her own very casual attire, she just shrugs. Still, the idea is a good one. It might be a pretty day outside, but it's still quite hot.

"Might be a good idea. It's a bit warm outside. In fact, I might want to put a tank top on."

"We'll do that then," Myrnin says and leads her toward the stairs up to their room.

There are soft sounds of protest and movement following after them, even if Menolly pointedly ignores them. She's not cross with them, but Beauty's been wearing on her nerves thanks to the little queen's temper lately.

"You're really enjoying yourself today, aren't you?"

"I am," Myrnin admits. "I believe I should. Even here days like this don't come terribly often."

"Well then, we should hurry so you don't miss out on any sunlight."

Of course he should. She's happy he's having fun with it even if the sparkles are a bit blinding at times.
