find me somebody to love...
well i don't really need to find somebody since i already have my boyfriend of 13 MONTHS! hellz yea.
so the other day after sleeping over at a friend's house after a small get together with some fun games which shall remain unnamed... anyways, gracie dropped me off at my house and i grabbed my purse with my left hand and thus was left to close the door with my right hand. and in slamming the door shut, i clipped my finger very neatly into the door. immediate bruising and pain i ask cody (who was hiding) and gracie what to do. as i walk up the hill to my house, all i can say is ow. it sinks in and as i am in the house i yell as politely as i can to ginny to get me a bag of ice and as i'm walking out of the kitchen to the foyer from telling gin, i start blacking out so i dive to the floor to keep from passing out. i'm crying in pain etc etc.
so i go to the doctors, get an xray, the radiologist asked me how hard i had closed the door. i responded with pretty hard. he said because he saw something in the xray but to have the doctor look at it. well i just found out today that the doctor saying everything looks okay but here's a splint, well the radiologist was right. i have fractured the tip of my MIDDLE FINGER on my RIGHT HAND. i am RIGHT HANDED. i am going back to school in LESS THAN A WEEK. i cannot type with the splinted finger. i'll show you why.
what a terrible tape job i did...
it makes everything harder now. typing, brushing my teeth, putting my hair up, washing my hands, writing. it sucks. oh well. can't turn back time.
dad wants to go to the beach after new year's eve and not come back until the day before i leave but i like that plan very little. unless i could bring cody. they said they wanted to get to know him better, why not for a couple of days at the beach? hrmmmm. i'll suggest it when they come back from getting my updated glasses and looking at the honda prius.
