I've been tagged!
1. Total number of books owned: Hmm, probably around 25. I had given all of mine away and have just started a new library within the last 6 months or so.
2. The last book I bought: I think it was Blue Like Jazz and Velvet Elvis. But I got 6 or 7 books for Christmas.
3. The last book I read: I just finished Velvet Elvis (which I loved) and have started The Mind of God and another one called Music, the Brain and Ecstasy ( I think )
4. Five books that mean a lot to me:
- Blue Like Jazz: I love the way Donald Miller writes, it's like having a conversation.
- Velvet Elvis: I usually get bored with books written by pastors, but Rob Bell is amazingly eloquent and entertaining. I learned so much from this book and it helped me to feel comfortable with my faith.
- Pride and Prejudice: I will always love this story. I would defiinitely like to have the self assurance that Elizabeth Bennet has in this book.
- Bible: there's so much to learn from it.
- The Giving Tree: It's my favorite book of all time. It's a children's book that I first read in second grade. (Hint hint for my birthday ;D )
