(no subject)
I'm DONE! WHOOHOO! In less than 24 hours, I will be en route to home, with Muddy Juddy driving (I'm getting sick and would much rather veg on the car ride back). I handed in my geology paper this afternoon, and then went "box shopping" (ie, went to liquor stores in the area to get free boxes...i <3 free boxes) for Adeline, who has yet to start packing and also is still writing 2 papers that are due by today at 5. However, importantly, I am done done done and tomorrow I go home, and in 2 weeks and 2 days I will be in DC starting my FANTASTIC internship and seeing klucassm who I miss SO much!
The last week or so has been pretty uneventful, except yesterday I went to see Nelson Mandela get an honorary degree from Amherst in NYC, which was pretty awesome. THe bus rides were long, but were made better by watching the first 9 (hour-long) episodes of the OC, which someone else had brought on DVD and which the whole bus watched...it was ridiculous.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna take a brief nap now before packing some more - I'm going out to dinner with Craig and his dad tonight, and then helping Adeline pack, and then going to meet my dad and Judd at the hotel. Then tomorrow dad and judd come early, and we pack up the cars, and leave!
