I'm not dead yet!
I know that I haven't been around for the past couple of weeks. There has been a lot going on both good and bad.
The good: both of my boys graduated last week. Here is my Middle School graduate:

When I caught up with him after graduation I gave him a real Debbie style hug
My mother came up from Alabama for the celebrations and it was great having her here. I miss her terribly and usually only get to see her once a year. We also had a party for the graduates on Saturday, and the weather was spectacular. This was also the day I got to introduce the man I have been dating to my children, my mother, my friends, the asshole ex and the ex's asshole brother. Yep, it could have been very stressful, and even though the ex was very rude, my friend John did not take the bait. So it was a very successful party.
And now the bad: it has been a sucky few weeks to be a woman. This period came 10 days after my last one and been relentless. I saw my gyno and she put me on birth control pills to help regulate things. Well not only did they not work but I was allergic as well. I now have a lovely rash that makes me look like a leper! Well, she put me on another drug that slowed it down a bit but not enough. And, not surprisingly, by blood work came back with negative numbers! Well, I am going to have a D&C on Thursday, so hopefully I'll be able to catch up everything I have missed.
I have missed my flist!
