Fri was a meet at Fauribault. Ridiculous. First varsity girls time was 14:11. She's a freshman. Our whole team was mostly behind the entire race; everyone was going so fast. Me and Michelle came in almost last (one girl from another team behind us). And I still improved my time by a minute and twenty seconds. I'm down at 19:35 now. Arial, running jv, beat my time by 2 tenths of a second, but the next meet is Como grade level, so I'm not off varsity yet. I just don't know if I can do that again. Yesterday we all (all, including the new runners and everyone) ran 8 miles. That was fun, even though less than a third of the team actually showed up. Oh well.
Today I went to church an hour late, and after mass was over, during the annual potluck picnic part, we sat (hid) on the floor behind the last pew and listened to the jazz band play. I've decided that there are about 40 jazz songs in the world, and I've heard them all before. Not to say they're not fun, just that I've heard them before. People kept looking at us (cause we were wedged in between the wall and that pew kind of cumfily) and finding our parents to tell them we were acting wierd. I swear we have more fun at church than anyone, giggling through mass and avoiding social interaction and anyone interested in getting us involved. Except the music people. We sometimes play music. Wow I was bored to write all that. except Laura better have a reply because the first half was just intelligible to her. ANd the second half is kind of like her pigtails. Cuz it made me happy. You hearing this, Laura? *hugs* I miss you.
