I found that I was basically 'invisible' in public, because I had my kids with me 100% of the time. I did the online dating thing & met someone that way. If i was co-parenting with my ex, I'd have a few weekends a month (at least) to meet someone in-person, but I was completely solo. I figured I'd find someone who was a single dad, but ended up with a guy who's got no kids of his own, but is an uncle/worked as a school bus driver. He is thrilled to have a family ( ... )

Yeah i deffinitly plan on taking my time & being very cautious. i figured they where out there , i just wasnt sure if they were very common. I geuss its an age thing, bc most men my age (25-27) arent ready for children

You're lucky if most men 25-27 are able to clean their own bathrooms. ;-)

Depends on where you are, and the social groups you travel in, but I know I wasn't very mature at 25. That's probably why my stalkers tend to be 19-25. ;-)

Youve got stalkers? thats no good. Im 25 & deffinitly not a stalker. Im more mature then most I had to grow up early, i was kicked out & living on my own at 14 but thats another story.. either way i agree with you ill make sure the age group i hang out with is older, ill probably be the youngest of them all if i can help it (:

It is harder when the kids are still diaper age because many people don't split up -real- early, and those that do, can't afford the Gymboree membership. But by the time they're in school, scouts, sports... you'll find a good community for finding single dads. Church activities are good too, for those that do church.
