Health Care Reform Like Whoa
Just got a bill from the laboratory that did the blood work for my recent physical: a whopping $1,023 because Kaiser Permanente is refusing to pay any of it.
My explanation of benefits says, "Employment/School Physical is not covered."
Who the hell said this physical was for school or work? Some of us are actually proactive about our health and seek preventative care of our own volition, KP.
Between what my company pays and what I pay, I'd guess my health insurance costs between 5-6K per year. KP can pay for a lousy physical.
