Okay, I'll bite. Anything you might conceivably want a mini-essay on for either Wolfwood or Livio, ask away. IC, OOC or canon questions are all cool. Or if there was something about Anakin you wanted to know before he left that I haven't covered, I can do that too. Maybe. If my brain works right.

Then we have Wolfwood's situation with Livio, which also pings him as kind of similar to Simon and River. Not exactly the same, of course, but there are parallells. He knows how damned hard it is to deal with someone who's not quite right mentally, who could go off at any time and seriously hurt someone, or him. Wolfwood hates himself because he wasn't able to prevent Livio from befalling the same fate he did, and couldn't save him. Even though he did in fact save Livio before he died in another way, he doesn't see it that way really. What I'm getting at is that he respects Simon for sticking to it, and not giving up on it. He probably sees Simon as more successful than he was.

Now, Simon's pessimism. Wolfwood doesn't like it. He knows he can't really make Simon see differently, not unless there was some life-changing moment around the corner for him, but he's not going to let it drop either. Wolfwood does not see the point in living every day expecting to die. Because, wtf, no. That's not living. That's waiting. He knows Simon's situation is pretty bad, and that he has real reasons for expecting to die or be put in jail or whatever, but God damn it, that doesn't mean you should just go "Okay, I'm doomed, shall we have tea?" Maybe it's because Wolfwood is scared of death himself, but he cannot comprehend the idea of someone resigned to death. He always kind of guessed, in canon, that either he or Vash or the both of them would end up dead; it was just the way their universe worked. But he was going to fight it every step of the way. Simon doesn't act like he's fighting it... he acts like it's already set in stone and there's nothing he can do about it. That's depressing. Stop it. D:

ALL THAT SAID, Wolfwood enjoys Simon's company. He doesn't give a shit if he's supare smrt lol because hell, loads of people are smarter than he is. Not his fault. He listens to Simon ramble ramble ramble because he doesn't mind that, as I said in your first comment up there, and he figures Simon must need to vent or something, so okay, go for it. He respects him as a doctor, even though there hasn't been much "proof" of his skill in regards to Wolfwood as yet. To be a doctor at Simon's age is damned impressive enough. He likes being sarcastic with him. He thinks it's funny when Simon flails. He overreacts too much, though, which is bad and is probably what gets him punched in the face by Mal, in his opinion.

I think... that's all. It ended up being more about Wolfwood than Simon. Such is life. :Db
