Believe it or not, I'm walkin' on air...
A post on Brunchma reminded me that I need to head out to a store sometime early next week and get The Greatest American Hero DVDs for my dad for his birthday.
I need to do this so I can put myself into the running for the "Most Ironic Gift of the Year" award.
Why is this ironic, you ask? Well, on the day of my birth, when my mother was going into labor pains, my dad stalled and didn't immediately take her to the hospital. Why? He was too busy watching that show.
He may not get it, as it was one of his favorite shows and he may just think I'm helping to bring back memories, but I'll be laughing on the inside when I give it to him anyway.
