Her room is cluttered, as usual. A row of empty bottles--some wine, some whiskey--is lined up neatly against the wall, and a few more are on the coffee table, amid a pile of shoes.

She opens the door and gestures grandly. "Here we are. Make yourself comfortable."

Isaac looks around, blinks once.

Comfortable.

That is another thing he forgot.

"...well, come on then," she says, kicking her slippers off in the general direction of the closet and moving toward the bed. "We've got all the comforts of home, and then some. It's great, if you don't want to do much more than lounge in bed, read, maybe take a long hot bath."

He follows, but... there are problem. "I have not even sat down in... centuries. Ever since I was cursed." No rest.

Never.

Or so Isaac believes.

"...standing up it is, then," she says with a smile, undaunted, and unties the sash of her robe.

Nothing but a very short slip underneath, and stockings. If you're going to do old-Hollywood decadence, it's best to go all the way with it.

Isaac blushes again.

He was never even close to a woman wearing this little, and...

Well. It might take a while for certain reactions to start anew. "You are beautiful."

"So are you," she says with a smile, sliding the robe off and tossing it toward the couch. "There's something about you I can't quite describe, but I like it. It's very attractive."

He watches the woman, tilting head. "I am?"

So many lost and forgotten things, in centuries upon centuries. Isaac reaches out to touch her face with fingertips, his hollowed out heart still echoing with the last shades of... feelings.

"Thank you."

"It's a... sadness? A weariness. You've seen everything, but you have to keep moving. I've met a lot of people on the bottom of the heap, and you've got some of that, but there's some hope too."

"Everything? yes, I have. I have walked every land and saw every people on Earth. And I can not forget anything that I saw."

All those memories, hurt.

Also, he is qyute over-dressed right now.

"I think there may be one or two things you haven't seen," she murmurs, leaning down to slide off her stockings, one at a time. "You get yourself undressed and we'll see if we can find a few things, won't we?"

Isaac nods, slowly pulling off his coat, then undoing his shirt. "I probably at least heard of it..."

That might be his main problem, he saw too much and keeps thinking too much, memories tumbling over memories.

"There's something to be said for actually experiencing it, though," she says, draping her stockings over the back of a chair and disappearing into the bathroom.

After a moment, she starts running the water in the bathtub.

Shirt, then shoes and socks, and next, pants. Isaac has a very good athletic build, strong without bulges of a bodybuilder.

He waits for Hedwig's return, still wearing boxers.

She peeks out of the bathroom, admiring the sight of him.

"...well," she says with a smile, after a good long look. "Would you care to join me? They don't much mind if we get water on the floor, here..."

Forgive him, he is new at this intimacy thing. Isaac nods, and heads into the bathroom.

He moves like a tired man, but at the same time with the endless energy of an immortal.

The bathroom is much cleaner than the rest of her living quarters here. It has an extra shelf full of various cosmetics and hair care products, but beyond that, everything is very tidy.

She has drawn a hot bubble bath, and lit some candles. And she's not wearing anything at all.
