pffffffffffffffffff today:
today was full of catapults and TA and food.
bill van evera gave us waffles in the morning. but then the wafflegasmic experience was sort of ruined when we had to go outside on the soccer field and play team building games for two hours.
so yeah...we had team building day today. no classes. only TA/games...and then we got into groups and built catapults and it was SO WEIRD. um, bennett and me=best catapult ever. we found a stick and a lunch tray and rubber bands and tape and a spoon, and put it all together and made one hottilicious contraption. it shot a golf ball exactly 1.25 meters. i need not mention that nearly everyone else found these wooden blocks and pieces of cement or like five times as many rubber bands as we had...and they all made catapults that were like three times bigger than ours and shot the golf ball like 10 meters. we still got 8th place! out of 13! because there were a few duds that like, shot the ball backwards or something.
this thing just kind of made me mad at people rather than get to know them better. but i guess soooooome of it was better than class.
and THEN at the end of the day catherine texted me and i saw her because she was at HB and askjfdalskjgalkjgs. that was the best part of the day.
ps. me and bennett...our group name was the spoon slayers. because we found a spoon. and we were SO TOUGH.
