on a superficial note:
yesterday at the gym, a woman who works there stopped me as i was leaving and told me, in a spanish accent, that i have "beautiful leggies."
now, this is a big thing for me. having disproportionately short legs (thanx, mom's side of the fam), i'm not accustomed to my legs being anything but short and stumpy-looking, especially in sneakers.
so nice hispanic woman pretty much made my week.
