I had a lot of fun presenting in PSA tonight. I think I added too much to the presentation, as it was 15 minutes longer than I would have liked, but at least I learned a lot while making it. Those 15 minutes were born of enthusiasm, not me attempting to fill up space. :) Hopefully I wasn't too obnoxious... I just get excited about creative things!

The one sucky thing about my presentation was that I ended up standing way too long. My knee had started hurting just before PSA and I forgot about it while I was talking, but as soon as I finished I realized that it was cramping relentlessly inside.

The walk back home was almost laughably painful, redeemed only by interesting company.

I say laughably because this pain was unearned: I did not do anything cool or X-treme enough to warrant an injury today. All I did was walk and stand around. LAME, that's not reason to limp up the stairs. My knees have a history of this sort of pain, though... which is bad. I refuse to get any more gods-damned therapy and I don't want to hear that I cannot run.

I do, however, need to be careful. I promise not to be a stubborn ass even though I'm frustrated about this situation. I won't (and can't) run until my knee gets better (let's hope for tomorrow morning!), and even then I will make sure to warm up extensively walking or biking first. I will also try to take the bus some more. Maybe the solid hour of speed-walking I do each day (this is minimal -- yesterday I clocked in at about an 90 minutes of walking) is just a bit hard for some reason right now. I personally don't think it should be, but if it is, well, ain't no use in fightin'. I kinda respect my knee. ;) Kat gave me the brilliant suggestion of getting a brace for it as well... so yeah. Will do that ASAP tomorrow morning.

Here's hoping it's just being cranky, and that it stops clenching and cramping in time to let me catch a couple of Z's.
