Yours truly got kicked out of racquetball class this morning. This sucks, and yet... is deeply amusing. Who the hell gets kicked out of racquetball? Me, evidently. Requesting to leave three minutes early was bad enough, but wearing stretchy cotton jeans?! I should have realized that nobody but my brother and I understand the concept of "climbing jeans." I'll have to make a point of flashing a route with them tonight. Can't work out in jeans my ass. They aren't even made of real denim.
*sighs* That aside, I am now nervously waiting for my emergency doctor's appointment. I'm glad that I made it -- I would have yesterday if possible -- but that still doesn't make it any more delightful than it already is. :P I'm a little nervous of what I might find out, but hopefull at least that will help me get better.
If you haven't noticed, my energy level has bottomed out for the past two weeks. This has been frustrating me because, as I mentioned, I've been going to bed impossibly early, skipping climbing and running to nap, avoiding all parties and almost all drinking, nourishing myself with militant care, and all manner of health-conscious things. Despite that, I still cannot seem to garner much energy or enthusiasm for anything, and I have yet to wake up feeling truly good or well-rested since I moved here. My bed is uber-cuddly, but every time I wake I have a headache or my sinuses are full...
What actually sparked me to make an appoint is more alarming. All of the afforementioned stuff could probably be explained by cold weather, lots of rain, stress, etc, but yesterday morning's sickness showed me blood where it should not have been. That alone is probably a TMI, but at least we can all be comforted that in five minutes I will be getting examined and hopefully taken care of over at Wilce. I feel fine (I actually woke up snuggly and in a very pleasant mood today), but I've been using "I don't feel like total shit" as an excuse for weeks now.
Anyway, lest the subject get to dark, I'd like to point out that there are a lot of cute boys in my geography class. Said cute boys all sit around me (okay, I won't lie, it was a mutual decision :)) and work with me on my labs. Said cute boys will also be attending the Wetlands field trip with my class this Friday... so yay! Lovely muddy wetlands and three hot boys.
And here I wasted half of this LJ complaining...
health,
