Sam's Kitchen
I saw a movie alone today
After buying myself brunch at Sam's Kitchen
(I even paid in cash)
You know I love a good Eggs Benedict
My Dad's hollandaise sauce is better
I saw at the theater... one of those... gum-ball machines
Except it had those plastic rings
Inside the clear plastic bubbles?
And I remembered when I told you,
that if we were poor one day,
I would marry you with one
And then I remembered the times you called me horrible things
And it made me unhappy again.
So... you won't be seeing me tomorrow after all.
