I believe the last time I posted, it was 9/11, but now it is Oct 4! Man! So long!
Since I last wrote, I've had exams, our first concert, two papers, mid-terms, octect rehearsals, I went to a Bar Mitzvah, eye problems...so much. lol
Well....I don't know where to start. On my first ULLC exam, I got a 94 total (A!) and then on my SSKB (sight-singing + keyboarding) I got a 92, my critical listening grade is an A, my piano exam turned out to be a B, but I am totally okay with that, and then my first IPA test, I got a 90, but then this last one wasn't as good - I don't know what the grade is, but I know I got some things wrong. Ugh. Frustrating.
But hey. Guess what?
FALL BREAK IS ALMOST HERE!
Tomorrow at 1:50 pm, my fall break starts. I don't know what I am doing yet, because I really want to see Josh before he goes out of town, but I'm pretty sure he has to leave right away after his last class to drive down to NC. Other than that, I am getting an eye exam on Monday, I'm going to Busch Gardens sometime, and I am having dinner with the Weavers eventually! I have so many things I must accomplish and so many people I have to see. I can't wait.
Anyways. So fall break. Woo! I have to practice too. I am definitely not excited that the days we get back (Wednesday, Thurs) are my two hardest no-lunch-for-Lisa days. It stinks. But I will try to survive.
Sigh. I am going to take a quick nap before I go to Vocal Jazz - which is going very well by the way! I mean, it's getting kinda hard, but I like it. I'm not dying yet. lol We'll see how our first concert goes (I think it's all the way in November! So weird!).
You know us college kids. Always sleeping, never working.
