And the Bottom Drops Out
I have not written in a while. I guess things have been busy....though not really.
Only 16 more days until I leave for New York, I can't wait! It's going to be so exciting with all the family there. I'm anxious to meet Jocelyn, Kennedy's fiance, and also just to have Ben there to get to know my family. Not to mention all the partying to be done to celebrate St. Patty's Day...
Ben's started his Tennis Season and so far has only lost one of his matches, which was this past weekend in Lexington. But the one he lost was to probably the best team in the state, so he's not feeling too bad about it. I'm so proud of him :D
Auditions are coming up for a play at LTVB right before I go home. I'm really thinking I'm gonna go ahead and jump in and try out. I miss the stage terribly. Dr. Clayton wants is thinking of having me do the solo in the mass I'm learning to come in and sing with the choir too. It would be so great, I miss singing and performing. I can't wait to get my certification so I can jump right into a school and start teaching/counseling. I'm just plain anxious to get my life going. Not that I mind what I do now, I have a decent job and I'm learning alot, but it's just that in-between time and I wanna hurry up past it.
Anyway...moving on...
RENT came out on DVD last week, and of course I had to buy it. Soooo good. I also bought Ben the Constant Gardener, which is really good too.
I'm racking my brain to think of something more to say....Oh! I'm helping Stefanie get ready for her wedding. I got to go and help her pick out her and her bridesmaids dresses. Her original "small" ceremony went from only having 50 people to now being almost 100. So her best friend Stephanie and her sister helped her put together a bridal registry at Bed Bath & Beyond, and started doing place cards for the tables. She's going to have a beta fish in a bowl on each table, which I think will be pretty neat. It's just too bad her fiance isn't here to help out. He's out on the Enterprise until later in March. It'll be a lovely wedding though.
I'm getting a little caught up in the whole wedding thing...but, I'm not in a big hurry. It's something to really look forward to for the future :D
Okay that's enough for now, it's back to work work work....I so despise Mondays. Friday just can't come soon enough.
