Home alone

I have a weeks worth of classes at disney u. yes folks, thats right, disney university. Although last night when I got home at 12:30 am and was unable to fall asleep till 4am I had to miss class today. But apparently some bug is going around and two others didnt show up for class because they were sick and my friend Cristi got sent home because she had a fever. So class was pretty much a loss today. Its pretty funny how mush disney lingo Im learning here that Im not really able to use on something like this without having another cast member read it and be like, yeah I know what your talking about.

Guess what Im totally excited about????!!!! There is an underground theatre company that only cast members can audition for called S.T.A.G.E. and the next show they are having is called the Music Behind The Mouse! They need an orchestra, actors, dancers and singers! Im totally psyched. The auditions are on september 19th and I dont know what Im going to sing. In Pensacola, the whole 16 bars thing never really applied, it only happened to me one in all my time in doing shows in that town and it was during Ragtime auditions because there were a crapload of us to audition. But down here in the big fishbowl its a very strict rule. I dont know, maybe Mr. Snow from Careosel? (SP?) I know I can do that one well, or I will just stick with the song that I sing as my pocket song.....Someone to Watch Over Me. Who knows, I have some time to think about it.

Nick is coming in town and Im excited to see him! We are going to stay at a resort on the property and I get a 50% discount! How sweet is that? Im totally psyched. Seem to have that feeling alot working here but I guess thats part of the package. Tonight is Annie-Bannanies birthday and Im taking her out to dinner.. Shes at work right now, she works at downtown disney at disney quest. Went in at 8am so she should be home soon.

All the roommates are currantly at work right now so its REALLY nice to have the whole place to myself. Nice and quiet. But its usually pretty quiet around here anyways. I was blesssed with some pretty good roommates. Ive kinda clicked with the two girls that live in the bedroom next to me and Annie. Jen is 28 and from Tennesssee and Amanda is 22 and from Ohio. She reminds me of Rachel. So thats nice. There is another bedroom towards the kitchen and its got my other two roommates, Gretchen from Massachusettes ( "Wicked cool..." ) Cracks my ass up with that accent, but I didnt think I really had much of one untill I started hanging out with Garrett from Iowa.....Iowa, never met anyone from that state, and he thinks my southern accent is "adourable..." funny. The last roommate is 24 and from Texas. Her name is JoAnne. Gretchen and JoAnne have kinda attached themselves on to eachother its kinda funny how that situation came about but whoever has the same work schedules is usually home at the same time so they wind up bonding. It just works out that way.

My job is usually from 8:30 to 5:00 or sometimes I will get off a little earlier. Its pretty nice since I have every night off, but at the same time it doesnt allow me to ever sleep in or be able to spend the night out past like midnight for fear of drooling on myself at work the next day. There is so much to learn, see and do here its INSANE. Garrett keeps telling me that there is no time to sleep or be tired for that matter. Hes right. Whenever i get a chance my head is down and my eyes closed. Like on the bus home, or a nap when I can. I have fifteen minutes? what? ok, Ill just take a little nap here on the floor, dont mind me.....

So Chatham, where I live is super nice compared to well, nothing, its just nice! But I saw the inside of apartments over at Vista Way, or Vista Lay as they call it. That complex is swimming in STDS and gross things. All the guys say that the girls there are out just to get laid, and a part of me was a little skeptical untill I met some new friends last night and Both girls were talking about all the hot one night stands theyve had since they have been here and we havnt even been here two weeks! Ewwwwwww......gross....Our pool is nicer and its quieter in general over here, which I like. I would rather go somewhere and party than live in party central.

I miss Edward. Sigh.

Love, Taylor
