I love moonlight sonata
I once watched a film with Gary Oldman as beethoven and the story was focused through the love letters and a pupil (adopted son? I don't remember very well) he had, it was really beautiful, I just found it here:

maybe you would like it.

about the pictures, as always, you never cease to amaze me.. this might sound tacky, but I just love that they look like black paintings :)

I have seen that movie, that's when I first found out about the letters. I like the movie too, it's not the movie he deserved but there are scenes that I remember from time to time like when she went to listen to symphony no.9 and she thought: "How can I hate a man who writes such music" (or something like that) and then went to visit.

I saw the movie some years ago so I don't remember it all that well either but for what I've read about beethoven is not accurate, historically speaking, nevertheless it is a good fiction and a sad one too

what can I say, I always like a good tragic love story :P

vais receber essas cartas.

I'm sure you know lots of things that I don't know. That's why we keep journals, to tell each other things :)

no I don't do music. I studied music from the age of 5 to 18 but I'm lousy at it, I was always more a music fan then a musician. I do love to sing though, that was the only thing I could do but then the green monster attacked me and "all the pretty things went to hell" , meaning that my voice is now ruined and that's ok cause I never did plan to be a singer anyway :P

but I do miss my piano to the point of crying when I see one, he was a good friend of mine
