Wow ok. so graduation....I'm tired, so I'll try to make this as brief as possible, but be able to explain the day.

So we were all up crazy early because Daniel's flight that was cancelled from last night due to rain was supposed to be getting in at 7:30 this morning. It was still stressful, but it all worked out at least.

The weather was on and off raining, but we got the call saying graduation would be outside. Our lovely head of the upper school whose name doesn't bear mentioning was the idiot.

So we get to school about 8:45 (seniors had to be there by 9) and I'm all into my cap and gown and everything. At about 9:30, it suddenly starts pouring.......and it's not till 10:45 when it's still pouring that our lovely head of the upper school finally decides to have graduation in the gym. Of course what was so retarded about this was that there was a separate place off-campus where they said they would have graduation if it was raining.

Naturally we're all very stressed out at this moment, especially since graduation was supposed to start at 10:30. We assemble in the wrestling room and it takes forever because of the damn photographer.....Finally, the ceremony starts at 11.....in my high school gym. Oy.

The first thing that drove me crazy was being at the end of the alphabet. Afterwards, I went crazy at how dr j said "don't trust the weather." The problem is they DID NOT trust the weather and SHOULD HAVE. The weather said it would pour all day. They are so retarded to not have listened.

The actual ceremony was long, but reasonably enjoyable. Mr. Wellington's speech was the best by far. I got my diploma, my cap didn't fall off like I feared it would, I remembered to move the tassle. All was merry.

It was weird that it was a little emotional for me....Riverdale will never have a soft spot in my heart (although the alumni association contacted me yesterday asking for yearly donations....I hadn't even graduated yet!!!), but it was still sad. Of course I was sad to say goodbye to Findlay, Norman, Mike, Sipp, Wellington, and Kolman. It was just kind of weird because I could easily never see that place again. I figure I'll visit at Thanksgiving or Christmas.....but still

We went out to lunch afterwards, which was fun. Of course I was very irritated at my grandmother. My mom totally agreed and ending up saying something to her because she just has no respect for me...ahhhhh I can't stand her!!!! I know they say accept faults, but she's not even trying. Thank God I'm leaving for college and I'm not getting married till I'm older, so she won't have to see my "sophisticated" clothing that she frowns so much on.

Yeah, so that was it.....ok so this wasn't brief. It's really nice having Daniel home. I feel a little let-down. It's weird....but I've got lots of good things to look forward to, so I'm okay!
