love & stuff
I didn't leave Fresburg Friday...or Saturday. First I still had too much to do, then I had problems w/ my car. So I missed RHPS in Long Beach (which I feel horrible about) but I got to stay for
infernoflow's birthday party. 6 17-year old guests & only 1 was a girl...I was so glad for her company! I wish she could've stayed longer. But honestly, Nathan has great friends. Quality over quantity, just like his big sister!
Grandma called asking for Mom Saturday night, but she'd already left to go to S.F. for her B.K. thing. I don't know what possessed me to tell Grandma about me & Tony, but I did & a few hours later, it hit me. I told Grandma before I told the rest of the family. It's going to be all over the Gilbert side in a matter of a week or so & I won't have the chance to tell anyone in my own time, on my own terms. Whoops!
Sunday morning I followed Dad & Nate down the highway for a while until they split off toward Victorville to see Aunt Sue & her husband, Del. I went back to my place, unloaded & SLEPT. But I drove out Monday to spend the day w/ them...got there about noon. Dad hadn't told Aunt Sue about me & Tony, so I got to & that felt good. And when Del came home from work, he was happy to hear the news too. Day turned to evening & we had dinner (I never turn down a chance to eat when Del & Aunt Sue are cooking). The evening wore on & I ended up spending the night. Huzzah for still being on vacation!
Dad, Nate & I took off about 8:30 this morning in our respective directions. I walked over to school after getting back to get online & found the sweetest emails from Tony in my inbox. I love that man.
