Volt has a long-term position available in Redmond, WA for a Product
Designer with Web Product Design experience.

Our Client's Health Group is looking for a Product Designer who is
strong in Visual Design, Production and Wireframes for Our Client's
health platform, along with a mix of online marketing initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Product Designer will:

* Work with an established Visual Design and Brand language.
* Be working with Information Architects, Project/Product
Managers, Developers and Marketing Producers.
* Work hand-in-hand with UX Designers and Writers to create comps
based on wireframes from Information Architects.
* Collaborate with UX Designers to develop assets for prototypes
for User Testing.
* Create design specifications and optimize graphics.
* Work with Program Managers to establish delivery timelines.
* Review and defend work with the UX Lead, Design and Feature
teams.
* Design UX comps for web-based applications by collaborating with
UX Designers and Writers on wireframes for several consumer websites.
* Design new iconography from existing languages.

This is an estimated 6-12 month contingent/temporary position through
Volt Technical & Creative Communication, which is headquartered in
Redmond, Washington. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in
the US for contingent/temporary and direct hire placements and support
most of the top-rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Required Skills for this Product Designer position include the
following:

* At least four (4) years of Web Product Design experience for
online web and web-based applications
* Must follow User-Centered Design Best Practices and techniques
* Must know all of the latest web-application technologies, as
well as standard HTML, DHTML, CSS, etc.
* Ability to develop Low-Fidelity Prototypes for User Research and
Proof-of-Concept
* Should have a strong positive track record of delivering on time
and releasing successful products under tight timelines
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience driving and shipping
consumer-targeted products
* BS Degree in Design, UX or a related field, OR equivalent
experience required
* Ability to articulate design choices and reasoning
* Portfolio demonstrating past projects required
* Must have enthusiasm and energy to work in a start-up
environment
* Should be eager to deliver in short-cycle product releases
* Must be able to handle change with a smile
* Must be comfortable with working on his/her own, and also be a
very detailed, organized, and strong team player
