I'm in the city tonight - downtown South Loop area of Chicago. 2:11am CST.
Fawkin. crazy. lightning/electrical storm.
Honestly, if Chicago burns down again in this century, I really find it's likeliest arson will be Mother Nature & Thor.
This is fkng in insane. Rain unseen but heard as pour water somewhere. Sky actually audibly ripping, rippling, cracking. Sounds like canons. Looks like alien laser rays of death from somewhere, unseen, above. And smells like ionized air. I can even feel the energy ripple in the room air, just fractionally on occasion.
And I'm on the 5th floor of a 20 level condo, with a screened door open out to a terrace view, West, of the city. We're practically on Lake Michigan, but the orientation doesn't let me see it.... though white brilliance bouncing between buildings has me wondering is the lake itself isnt a apart of this crazyness.
Just..... wow. Like waiting to watch & hear Gods. Awe inspiring, incredible, terrible, intense, amazing.
