OH!!!!! Driver's Permit!!!

Make that, I have TWO, now :)

BrianC's MobileLife gal-pal, Jen, was AWESOME & AMAZING today (Thursday) on our mutual "Day Off"... and she picked me up at my apartment at about 11:30am, drove us over to the "Orange County Government Center" in Goshen... and after a stop there, a lunch out for tasty Chinese food, then a return trip to said Govt. bill-ding...
... I now have a New York State Driver's Permit!!!! Paper, as it may be, it is valid :) I'll get the plastic card within a few weeks.

means I can drive cars and stuff... and am, again, a NYState resident, officially!!!

Jen is all gung-ho about my attaining an actual License within the more immediate short-term.
Me :: "Eeeeeeeeeep!!!!! I have a NYState Permit again!!! Eeeeeep!"
Jen :: "Yeah - and you're going to have a NYState License in a few months."
Me *joy and terror* :: "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!"
... So, yeah ;D Jen said she really wants to help me practice driving, with her car, and be able to to take the Road Test - and to ACTUALLY drive, of course! I'm actually fairly psyched about this :) It's a nice kick in the ass.
Jen & I had a fun day... went back to her house afterward, and competed with her fiance Brett over the evolution, construction, and eventual completion of a giant double-batch of lasagna. lol.
Pretty amazing for a gal I only met a week ago. :) She's very cool, ha.
