a new laptop computer :: Apple :: Don't get me wrong - like my phone, I adore my present computer. We've been through a lot together, and it has been an enormously powerful tool & element - and even friend - in my Life.... But yesterday I watched my screen do something I've never seen happen on any computer ever, and all I could think was that my Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen was actually dissolving and melting before my eyes. It was rather terrifying. Obviously, later as well as today, everything appears to be okay and normal.
But yesterday's screen crash - along with the increasingly slow response of my computer, at times - has really hit me home to the fact that my awesome little White iBookG4 Apple computer laptop is already very old, is a 2002 model, and has seen it's tour of the world... and might soon need to be replaced :(
