I had a nice day with Brian & friends :)

got up at about 9am; worked on the job applications a little; started & finished & sent a long email to update my family & friends on my Life, new mailing address, and Marc Gunn's new CD.

Watched a bit of "Top Chef - season 1" on TV with Brian (when he finally dragged himself out of bed).

Went grocery shoppin' & got foods.

Had hot dogs & buns fer lunch - both grilled on the snazzy grill by mista Brian, with real Cherry Cokes, while watching some "Star Trek:TNG".

Bill & Erik stopped over; showed them the flux capacitor in the bathroom; and we all became entrenched in a Nerf weapons war that continued at various levels for the next 3 hours.

Watched the movie "PCU"; worked a little on job apps. before giving up to the ongoing levels of distraction (and Nerf Wars).

Got Erik & Bill addicted to the www.licd.com comic strips, since I own all 3 (signed!) copies of the Least I Could Do books (and continued the Nerf Wars).

HAD KISHKABOBS FER DINNER!!!!!!!!!! :D (with rice & cherry Cokes) Yeah! Mah favorite meal!!! ... while watching the "Top Chef" marathon, and avoiding Nerf bullets, lol.

Erik & Bill left; Brian & I watched some more "Top Chef", then sketch comedy; then went fer a walk to get ice cream from the deli around the corner; then watched a ton of Monty Python's Flying Circus sketches, and ate said purchased ice cream, and looked-up random shtuff online.

lol. Just an easy nice day with friends :) It's still so unreal that I can see & hang out with these buddies on a very frequent and regular basis. It's amazing :)

... Oh, and our apartment, apparently, will eventually be developed beyond the "library of books, comics, and DVDs" scenario .... into a challenge course gauntlet of doom maze of attack & defense, with safety gear at the door, and weapons hidden throughout the apt. The plans are currently on display at the bottom of a locked filing cabinet, in a disused lavatory, with a sign on the door saying "Beware of the Leopard", at the bottom of a darkened stairwell, in the basement of the Regional Planning Office.
