DUDE.
I just realized hidden brilliance. lol.
As a writer, it's sometimes hard to be surprised by TV shows or movies, knowing that things don't get mentioned without the intention of them having some role or significance later. For example ::
Da Vinci Code (book) = peanut allergy
Silence of the Lambs (or one of that series, I'm not sure) = the guard's pen
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (book) = Arthur wanting tea
The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul (book) = the eagle with weird spots
Paycheck (movie) = uh... everything in that envelope, lol
The Italian Job (2003 movie) = the comment "I'll take one of each"
Pirates of Caribbean 2 (movie) = the Bayou witch's jewelry on the table
Law & Order (TV) = just about anything, ha
... just any number of off-handedly mentioned bits of information, seeming to be dropped in casual conversation... WHEN IN FACT, it would never get mentioned without having some actual meaning or consequence or if it didn't then connect with something else important.
My point is...
You know that Harry Potter is going to be able to survive the last book, in some form, even if it's through magical reincarnation or resurrection. How do you know this?
Phoenix feather in his wand. {Phoenix = rebirth, new from the old, resurrection, reincarnation, etc.)
... either that, or Hermione or Cho or Ginny or someone is gunna be pregnant with his kid, lol.
And it's one of those obvious things that it took todays "Penny Arcade" webcomic strip to make me realize, hahhaa... http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2007/04/13
Cheers, fellow HP fans ;D
